The program takes place virtually and in person, showcasing the exceptional tech innovations emerging from Africa and providing them with the platform to thrive. By collaborating with experts from Africa and around the globe, we will create an ecosystem that nurtures and boosts tech ventures. The Africa Tech Startup Forum is funded by the Korea Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Trust Fund through the African Development Bank (AfDB)’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab. It serves as a dynamic hub for innovation, collaboration, and growth within the burgeoning tech landscape of the African continent.

- Additionally, citizens from countries like Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Egypt, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana are also eligible to apply.
Application Process
Below is the application process for the African Tech Startup Program:
- Applicants should create and record a 1-3 minute video introducing yourself, your business, or your project, and explaining what you hope to gain from participating in this program.
- Upload your video as a private/unlisted video on YouTube or Vimeo.
- Finally, make sure the video is accessible to anyone with the link, and have the link ready for your application.
- Fill out and submit the application form via the registration link.
